Meera Lester Biography
Meera Lester is the owner of the San Francisco Bay-based
farm, the Henny Penny Farmette. She married a designer and architect man named
Carlos Carvajal. In 1947, she and her husband renovated their farmhouse; the
farm is a haven of herbs and vegetables; it's also a sanctuary of bees and
chicken. With the goal of becoming self-sustaining, she chose to farm; in fact,
she's on the fifth-generation of farmers in her family.
Meera, who’s wowed her fans with books and other pieces, is
also a painter. Her interest lies pilgrims, saints and other spiritually-related
iconography. During her teenage days, she’s chosen to convert her faith to
Catholicism. As a way to express and restore her faith, she ensures saying a little
prayer every night, keep devotional candles on her prayer table, and keep
rosaries, prayer books, and other sacred things.
Career As An Author
Meera Lester is a globally-known author and writer for more
than three decades. Her specialty is producing non-fiction books which is a
composed pieces under the genre of inspirational and thriller-mystery. She has
also published more than two dozens of books under different publishers. Some
of the publishers she's written for are Adams Media, F&W Publications, Fair
Winds Press, Kensington Publishing, and Rockport Publishers. One of her famous
mystery series is the Henny Penny Farmette; the three-booked series came out as
an inspiration from her farm. Some of her published series were translated to
